How long until Gio is the primary back? Is there are reason they're giving more carries to the guy averaging <2 yards a carry, instead of giving the ball to Bernard?

I'm all for Bernard starting because I've never been a fan of BJGE, but BJGE ran well today. That <2 ypc was due to WAY too many runs for losses which were not his fault.

On the bright side, everyone else in the AFC North is terrible too.

Pittsburgh is pitiful. There's just no excuse for the lack of talent on offense that they have.

We'll beat Pittsburgh by 24.

It will be a drubbing.

Dres penalty never happens if Marv runs the ball all 3 times instead of throwing that stupid ass 2nd down pass.

Silliest argument ever.

It was a short pass that should have been caught. Had it been caught, they throw on 3rd down with a 3rd and 7 instead of running on 3rd and 14 just as they should have.

With 2 minutes left, had Marvin ran the ball on all 3 downs you'd be calling for his head for playing not to lose instead of playing not to win. Hindsight is 20/20.

Crash please come an legitimize this for us all.

26/33 for 79% completions / 282 Yards / 2 TD's / 2 TD's which only half of one was his fault

Andy Dalton looked really good minus the opening day jitters to start the game.

That first INT, Green did not take a straight route like he was supposed to, he rounded out his route and faded backwards which gave Tillman a great angle on it. Dalton shouldn't have thrown it, but it was a timing route and with the fade Tillman made a great play.

2nd INT, that was all Green.

2 INT's, 2 fumbles, one of which we lost, snafus calling personnel on the field costing us two time outs on the same play, once 10 men, second 12 men, next play results in a TD. If you are goign to call that many TO's in one play, you better not allow a freaking TD.

Defense could not stop a 3rd down attempt by the Bears in the second half it seemed like. Had ZERO sacks.

There was next to no blame to point at Dalton on this game. he had an excellent game on the road. Hit deep passes, had a high completion percentage, only accounted for .5 INT's on his own, and threw some lazers into tight coverages for completions.

So those of you ragging on Dalton in the first 5 minutes of the game, you can come back and apologize now. Unless you just want to look like arrogant assholes of course.

Thanks, I couldn't watch. I just saw Bernards stats compared to his. I was curious why they kept trying to run it with BJGE when it wasn't working. Didn't realize it wasn't BJGEs fault.

Bernard is way more dynamic than BJGE. Eventually he'll be starting for us. Right now though, BJGE knows the system and we know he can pass block. Not sure they trust Bernard yet.

Despite what Crash wants everyone to believe, our o-line is GREAT in pass protection. Was last year and still is.

It is good, because Dalton helps make them better with his quick throws, now get the F off my nuts douche bag.

Dandy Pants came back and ended up playing fine. Dalton proved again though, he isn't going to be anything more for the Bengals than a game manager. He isn't going out and going to win a game, especially on the road.

Also, I wouldn't say the first INT was 'half AJ's fault.' He stared him down and the DB made a good play. That is still on Dalton.

This just in, Andy Dalton is pretty good. On the road to open theseason against a very good defense and he nearly throws for 300 yards and nearly 80% completion.

Dalton needs to throw it to or TE's 50% of the time, Bernard 25% of the time, and AJ Green 25% of the time. Just keep the chains moving and wear out opposing defenses.

Mismanagement and defense cost us this game mostly, but AJ's INT and Sanu's fumble really hurt us also.

I don't even see how Dalton makes it into the blame category in this game.

I have no problem with Dalton today. I will check the numbers, but I would be willing to bet he gets a positive grade today from PFF.

So Dandy plays as good as he can and we still lose. Look at the top QBs in the league, who you all want Dalton to be. When they play their best games, they win, almost without failure. Dalton isn't a guy who can put the team on his back and go out and win a game for us. Sure, he played ...fine for us today, but he still has shown he's nothing more than a game manager who can't win big games on the road.

I would like to give him the benefit of citing that he has a totally inept head coach though.
