Anyone who pins the blame solely on Dalton for this game (and last week vs the Texans) needs to get their eyes checked.

Not solely, but he's shown once again that he really struggles to beat decent teams - definitely teams wiht good defense

because he freezes up and doesn't throw to the open receiver.

what team are you watching!?

The team that has no receivers actually getting open. The team that has put themselves into 1st, 2nd and 3rd and longs for 2 straight weeks and can't get any semblance of a running game going to save their lives. You're acting like these guys are all open, when none of them are. They can't protect, receivers aren't getting open, and they're compounding the problems by putting themselves in obvious passing situations where they need to protect longer against blitzes.

right. he's an average to above average QB.

he's not a great QB. maybe he will be one day... and he can demand a trade.

Dalton has been way better in these spots that years prior. I agree he does need to play "better" but the D has given up 31 points tonight. For starters.

if you think there aren't receivers open, then your not watching the same game. alcohol is distorting your reality. He's having trouble with good defenses, same old story.

WHAT?! It's harder to beat good teams than bad ones and harder to score against good defenses than bad ones? That's a fucking eye-opening observation!

Don't be a jackoff. You knew what I was saying.

But hey, maybe you're cool with losing in the first round of the playoffs every year.

Dalton seeming to do well VS the prevent-D

garbage time stats unless we can get an onside kick

You mean like Eifert was open last week? Or AJ just now (when the ball was perfectly placed). Or Bernard a few plays ago? Or Jones earlier tonight? You mean those open guys?

It is frustrating to see some of these drops. but drops do happen. QB play obviously effects the offense more than any other position. Dalton still has room to grow. maybe next year, maybe later this year.

Have they lost in the playoffs this year? Who's the jackoff? The people that listen to all of the "experts", or the guy that can look and see that there's far bigger concerns on this team than the QB, who has no time to throw and has made countless plays this season and has a 3-1 TD to INT ratio?

are we dumb enough to NOT try an onside kick here? if we don't, that means even our coaches have given up.

We have one of the best OLs in the league.

What are the 'far bigger issues' on the offensive side of the ball?

Thanks for that play call, Arizona. We'll keep our timeouts.

Either we have a lot of faith in our defense who seems to be struggling to cover Arizona's weapons... or the coaches have lost faith in Dalton's ability to come back just as he was doing fine against the prevent defense.

No, it's not all on Dalton. the coaching has A LOT to do with it.

but hey, everyone loves Marvin and Hue.
