So how does this work for him?

Meaning....

1) Does he have to remain on the active roster?
2) Does he have to remain on practice squad?
3) Can he be placed on some list of unavilable players but remain with the Bengals?

He got sentenced to 3 years, but with good behavior along with time served and community service he can be paroled after what, 9 months? Which would wipe out this year obviously, but once released, would he be required to be placed on the practice squad or active roster to remain his rights?

I'm not sure how it works. We should ask the Ravens fans.

I thought I saw somewhere his rights are retained through the 13 season...so, he'll be here next year.

Our 2014 starting linebacker core:

OLB Howard
MLB Burfict
OLB Joiner

Haha. Let's hope these malcontents play like they are beating ass in the ghetto and bring a little swagger and fear to ur LB core. Maybe Howard can tame these other two.

For being a LB coach and defensive guru, Marvin sure has swung and missed heavily on attaining LB's via draft or FA.

You haven't been impressed with Caleb Miller, Landon Johnson, Ahamad Brooks, AJ Nicholson, Keith Rivers, Rey Maualuga, or Dontay Moch?

Just shows that Mike Brown is a very spiritual person. "Judge lest ye be judged"..............I like the fact that he gives these kids a second chance.

He gives them a seventh, eighth, and ninth chance......hell, if Charlie Sheen could play football, HE would have been a Bengal......
