Yes he did and he got roasted for it. I was at game 4 and was disgusted but the difference is he grew up and worked on his game to get better while Simmons refuses to work on his game.

Players run this league and we’re talking about Ben Simmons who has always placed himself above the team at LSU and in Philly. What the Nets want in this case doesn’t really matter.

If he came back right away, those same takes would look bad all the same since it would suggest how much of a less toxic of a work environment he is in now. Am I right or am I right?

Obviously any new situation was going to be less toxic for him.

I do think if he returned to the court immediately it would have been used as an “I told you so” for the people who are convinced he was faking.

He hasn’t returned immediately. He isn’t expected to return first game after the break either.

It shouldn’t take a fit 25 year old that long to condition enough to play some minutes. And the Nets need their stars on the court ASAP.

So if nothing else it should at least get the “definitely faking crowd to take pause.

Do they though? Do you think the Nets have any real chance of missing the playoffs? If they get KD and Simmons playing with a reasonable amount of games left to get dialed in to some degree, their seeding isn't going to matter too much. Plus, Kyrie could be back full-time in the very near future.

Agree that he likely won't...but I'm gonna at least watch the start of the game to make sure because Philly fans are going to lose their everlovin' minds.
