When it is all said and done, Simmons' problems weren't just poor play. It was how much he shrank in that series. And rather than owning up to that, he chose to act like a hurt child. What he SHOULD have done is take full ownership of his play and take those barbs as fuel to take his game to the next level. Instead he decided that it was time for him to run away.
As much as we all talk about how he fits with the Nets, let's see how things go when KD gets frustrated with Simmons. Because Simmons is a frustrating player. When he's clanging layups and bricking free throws and then hides in the dunker spot, we'll see what KD says.
