I was just pointing out that it happened over two years ago. There's no reason to hype it up now, as if it will have any effect on this game or any game in the future. It was cool at the time, but having seen it 1.5 million times it loses it's appeal somewhat. There's been much better plays throughout history that have received less attention, why not start a thread on every single one of those?

Plus the Brewers invented using the term beast mode in sports. Seattle stole it just like they stole the term 12th man. :gaah:

It is a very good article on that game, and being it is the same two club's playing tonight it does have relevance.

Sharper was less than enthralled by Lynch's celebration.

Sharper: "Then the earth started to quake and the ground erupted. And he goes into the end zone backward and grabs his crotch for everybody to see."

Whether or not Lynch's hand placement was intentional, the celebration was certainly an emphatic exclamation point. He dove into the end zone backward like an uninhibited child leaping into a swimming pool, landing on his back and into a reverse somersault.

Lynch: "That was the stamp on the statement. With all of that [expletive], you've gotta finish it off somehow."

That was two years ago, just how long are people supposed to talk about past history. Because if talking about past history is all that important we can talk about Dwight Clarks amazing catch, in the endzone, against the Cowboys.
As long as we want. Feel free to talk about Dwight Clark in another thread, thanks. Not surprised of the quality of this post coming from its contributor.

Why are you being such a buzz kill jerk? Why even comment on it? It has relevance because we're playing the Saints in a battle for the #1 seed in the NFC, which you know.

Plus, it's not some play from the 80's and it's one of the greatest playoff runs in the history of the NFL.

If you know of a more impressive playoff run, then by all means, let us all know.

The real question is why the attitude? :noidea:

Who are the Brewers? That hyped team that the Cardinals beat in 1982 for the W.S. and
in 2011 on their way to another title? How many playoff appearances, again?

Who was a beast on the Brewers? Steroid boy?

Nice game vs Penn State.... :L

That is my thought too.... It was a cool run but the Saints Defense is not nearly as soft now as it was then.

The Saints had a very good D in 2010.

#4 in yards and #7 in points. That was the 1st time the Saints had single digits in both since
1992, before you were born.

Yes, they have a very good D this year but don't discount 2010 based on reputation.

Facts >>> Shit :L

The Hawk fans are just pumped for the game. This is what this thread is all about IMO.They have the right to get ready for this game. BTW ,I have hard earned v-cash on the Saints , 5.5 against the spread of course! Come to think of it...I suck at betting! :gaah:

Well, I'm taking the phrase back to Wisconsin. From now on Beast Mode refers to Eddie Lacy.

Maybe this play is worth talking about if Seattle went on to win the superbowl. All you did was lose the next week in Chicago.

Small, small men (in all ways) take the time to go on a message board to slam a Seattle team and its fans. It's one of the most unsuccessful and feckless sports cities in the US.

Everybody knows the scum who come on here and shit talk them are dickless and effeminate. Sad that they're so willing to broadcast it.
