I hope this means a corner has been turned.

Tim Thomas is fucking nuts! He'd probably give me more heart attacks than Dom did. That guy definitely creates his own good luck by never giving up on any puck.

Damn, good game guys... however I do think the Bruins are better than that. But let's face it, they were going up against a team in desperate need of a couple of strong wins against a good team. The Wings have looked lethargic and sloppy for several weeks now, and needed to prove to themselves that they can run with the big dogs. They out hustled, out skated, and out worked the B's big time. I'm proud.

Did anyone else notice the PA guy playing the Adams Family theme song on the organ as Lucic left the ice? I don't think that was a coincidence...

Also that trip that the announcers wouldn't shut up about on I think Eaves, saying that the stick hit Eaves stick and Eaves fell... on the slow motion, it looked to me that as Gregory Campbell hit the blade of Eaves stick with the blade of his own stick, the shaft of Campbell's stick nailed Eaves right on the side of the knee with some pretty good force, knocking him off stride as that leg was in the air. Could be wrong, but it seemed pretty obvious to me for Doc and company to be harping on it like that. I guess I'm just used to Ken and Mick treating every call against the Wings like a crime against nature. :D

Anyways, it was a fun weekend of shit talking. I enjoyed those two wins, and I wish the Bruins the best of luck. Also, whenever you lushes wake up from your Natty Ice induced comas, go suck a bowl of chowder, you filthy micks! ;-)
