If they don't sign a vet, I expect Minter will be active this week. Was hoping to see him sooner.
Injuries are what's going to get the other guys active also. Most of the guys need learning. And are too good to risk putting on the PS.

Micheal Bush is barely getting carries, so unless Ford can do better than someone on special teams we will probably not see him unless a playoff spot is locked.

That is the other side of the whole eliminating kickoff crap, special teams are the way a kid gets on the active list and gets a shot.

We RARELY used Allen when both Bush and Forte was healthy.

... and don't give me that Garrett Wolfe BS. The whole fan base was crying for the Bears to use him, and then when they did, he stunk and everyone went; "WHY THE HELL ARE THEY USING HIM?"

Ford should get some snaps one day. I am intrieged by his versatility, hopefully he is working on his pass blocking. He should get a few snaps for experience purposes during this season. We need to see our depth.

Ford got his chance , and in my opinion blew it. Poor coverage overall could be blamed for that big punt return. But he was the first 1 down there , and being a rook will get the bulk of the blame.
