So that means we have Wilson as #1 WR, Grasu as starting Center, and Jones-Quarterly as starter at Safety (next to fellow rookie Amos)
Woah.... Let's hope some of the Cubs Rookie mojo rubs off on these guys.

POINTS! Nice drive by Gase and Jay. Hopefully they can keep doing this for another drive or two and the Chiefs will need to ease up on the pass rush. Creating some more running room. Not bad fellas...not bad....

One good drive and play calls...followed by an odd decision to go wildcat? hmmm.

This is going to be a really tough game. With as many guys they have out on offense it's almost not fair. Need to hit some bigger plays and subdue that pass rush. need points on this next drive...and a turnover on D.

Agreed it was a bad pass... came out of his hand odd, but the announcer isn't wrong either... Nobody has played with these WR's. He probably shouldn't have said that after that pass, but we all know Announcers are idiots.

Half Time Thoughts: Bears 3 Chiefs 17
Recap:
Chiefs get an early Defensive TD on a a sack fumble recovery where Jay had no chance. (should still hold onto the ball)
The Bears offense showed some moxie early controlling the ball and TOP for the first quarter and half, but couldn't put more points on the board and couldn't change field position... Bears have started on the 20 or inside their own 20 on every drive. The defense forced Chiefs to a couple 3 and outs...
The 2nd qrt the Chiefs got going on offense and began moving the ball and the Bears offense went 3 & out 3 consecutive drives. (why did we do Wildcat?)

The Offense needs to find something that will stop or slow down the Chiefs pass rush and get the ball moving. The talent is simply not there with all the injuries the Bears have on O.
I would like to see more inside slants and rub routes to the middle of the field- the Chiefs are simply too fast to go to the edges. Need better first down calls and MUST stay out of 3rd and Long. I like Langford or Forte split out wide and Wilson is showing something again this week. Need to Bennett involved in better routes 3 targets zero catches and has been well covered all day. If Jay's hamstring allows it, I would go more PA and roll outs to move away from that rush. Eliminate penalties.

Defense needs to put more pressure on Alex Smith and at this point they need to force a turnover. They aren't playing bad, but need an impact play. Need 3 & Out on first drive.
