I didn't get to see the first period but good pressure in the leafs zone throughout most of the night. The b's had their chances and just didn't capitalize, but more importantly as was already said, our defense and especially our PK are really deficient right now. Something has to be done and fast. CJ needs to change some part of the practice to get the B's where they were at the beginning of the season. We have the talent on the Blue line we just need to show it.

That pretty much sums it up Null. No need for me to add anything. :L

Seriously BTM how could Krejci not have buried that at the end. It's hard not to get discouraged at this time of the season when we lose 3 straight, especially to a team that has struggled all year?

That wasn't the only open net they missed tonight. There was also one in the second period. It may have been Krejci then also but I'm not sure.

Well, if they're going to hit a bad stretch, better now than in the playoffs. Lets just hope they get it out of the way and hopefully get hot going into the playoffs. This road trip is really big now. At least the Bruins have played well on the road.

Yes it was.

I think Krejci's play has diminished somewhat offensively this year, but he's still contributing in the offensive zone and the defensive zone. I would rather have him out there than not. I was talking with a friend today and I've come to the conclusion that I would like to see the B's move Wheeler and Ryder by the end of the year. We have some pretty promising prospects that I think will really step up our compete level with an entire season under their belt. Wheeler has just been a disappointment for the most part this year.

Wheeler I agree with. I thought that after the playoffs last year. I still like Ryder and Krejci also. As far as bringing up prospects, I'm never against that idea, especially if they really show some promise.

What about defensemen? Who do you think should be sat and/or traded?

I've been really struggling with that recently. I really don't know because I really like Mcquaid, Stuart, Ference, Seidenberg, and Boychuk. Obviously we aren't trading Chara and Kampfer is a prospect. Just like Jeff said though, Stuart seems like the most likely candidate.

We really need an offensive defenseman that can quarterback a PP or at least give the B's more looks. That would really improve our chances for a decent cup run.

Well I guess we'll know soon what the Bruins have planned. They have to do something.

Montreal gets 1 point tonight. I believe the Bruins are still in 1st even though they have an equal amount of points

Yeah I'm pretty sure we still have two games in hand. I want to know right now what we do lol.

Even as die hard a fan as I am, I'm just not convinced this is a cup team. Sometimes we look great but other times we look inferior on the ice. It's a problem that has plagued us for the last couple seasons of inconsistency. This is the time of year where we have to really kick the blocks and light it up out there. I just haven't seen it yet. :L
