I think I was going by how he played late in the game.

But honestly Micah was gassed late because of how stupid McCarthy is. They needed to help the defense by running the ball effectively in the second half.
I think I read Micah played over 90% of the snaps. I can't blame the team for doing so because we just don't have anyone else to play, but we all know that many snaps at DE wears him down as he is only around 240lbs. I think at least until Tank comes back it just needs to continue but I would love to see us rest him more

As far as Lance vs Rush - i see a little Deja Vu happening here and oddly enough it happened on Parcells watch. Testeverde had been our QB all year. Fans were dying to see Drew Henson. Thanksgiving Day it happened . The Tuna went with Henson only to watch him play horrible , until he decided to bench Henson and go back to Vinny. Vinny led us to victory that day and was QB1 the remainder of the season.
Or - go back a little further. 1988 - the team was going nowhere and fans (as well as the leering press) were screaming for Landry to start Kevin Sweeney. So he did. Against the Vikings. Lost 43-3 after which Landry said “Well, I think we’re done with that”.

Good times.

Um, Here's the thing about that Bro...Cooper Rush has started the last two weeks and we lost 34-6 and 34-10. Averaging 8 points a game. So even if that worst case scenario happened(which we won't know till we try), is 43-3 that much worse than 34-6?

between the two Qbs. Rush is the better Qb so if the Coaches are playing to win still & not for seeing players for next year. Rush will be the starter.
I do think as soon as MacCarthy admits this is his last year. No need to fight to save your job. They can then move on to Lance to see what he has or doesnt have. Which I am now looking forward too. Because if we want until next season to do this. the QB room will be more of the same.
If we get a good look & give Lance an honest amount of time in game. We can then move on from him (unless he surprises everyone) & also upgrade the back up QB spot since we can go to a young rookie or whatever at back up. Moving on from both Rush & Lance.

If Lance doesnt get his shot this year. I believe we keep Rush for just in case (like this year) while waiting to see how Lance turn out.

So in a long about way. I am saying I agree with you. I want to see Lance this year, so we can change the entire QB room next year behind Dak.

That's a good point. I can see Rush this week. Past that, I can't I understand it. We gave up a 4th that could have been a good RB and Lance is gonna walk after this season. A 4th round pick for a 2 year 3rd string QB. At least let him play 5-6 games to see if he is worth keeping or maybe recoup a comp pick

The current team reminds me of 88
