Nice call on the game. I was completely wrong. NCSU definitely looks capable of finishing in the top 7/8 of the conference. They should beat the winner of SMU/UNI and I think they will have a good shot at taking down Nova.

This is the thing with Wolfpack basketball over the last few years. They can pull off wins against tough teams, but then they lose to teams like Northern Iowa. Still think they are a much better team than they were last year.

Last year, NC State beat a ranked Va. Tech team and Duke but couldn't beat a 9-win Boston College team. This year, they beat #2 Arizona but can't beat Northern Iowa. 2 years ago, they had 2 wins against ranked teams but lost to William & Mary and a 7-win Boston College team. It's a pattern with Wolfpack basketball.
