Based on what?? that last movie purposely gave the middle finger to all batman fans... why should we give a character created just for a movie a main role that would ruin ALL source materials??

it wasnt really an easter egg even... generally easter eggs are supposed to honor the source material... this was just to say Bruce was retiring and no more movies...

that's my thought too...and having the JGL's character be named "Robin" was dumb...and maybe cruel for the dummies who thought something else was coming...

I am pretty sure he was thinking that he in no way wanted to do a fourth with Bale. He did some justice, showed Bruce alive, Alfred alive, and somebody taking over. I dont appreciate having to watch 3 with the close captioning on.

What did we end up with, having the Affbat co star, not even wanted for the Flash movie when they went back to Keaton? From where I sit, having the Robin taking over could have gotten 3 more movies where Batman was the focus with better villians. A suicide squad cameo? A Batman recruiting stars so he was not the star of the movie?

I guess this is tom hanks in big, where a comic book comes to life vision you have for Batman, where I am a guy who wants to see the next car and do not really care who is behind the mask for the majority of the movies. Was it a bigger fuck you than having the vampire finally turn into a bat?

Not sure if I follow your comparison between Batman and Superman.

If anything I think Superman is more complicated of a psychological character than Batman as Superman is three identities fihhting to be one. Batman is really only one identity. As he uses Bruce as a mask.

Hell, Bruce acts like a playboy just to keep his Batman persona.
