Basketball under 2 feet of snow! (CBB Season 24-25, Part 2)

Today begins Part 2 of the college basketball season! And the game to watch today is Michigan State @ Ohio State at 8:00 (Oh, and there's also Creighton @ Marquette at 9:00 also)!

Now don't expect too many posts from me on this thread. That's because in Part 2, all of the teams are learning how strong they REALLY are as they dive deep into conference play. So it's best to just sit back and watch the games... and try not to make TOO many judgements.

I start getting interested in college basketball at this time of the year. I know my Gators are off to a great start, unbeaten so far, they have big games against Kentucky and Tennessee coming up, I’ll definitely watch those. College basketball is fun to follow and March Madness is always entertaining, but so many teams getting in does lessen the excitement of the regular season so it’s my 4th favorite sport behind NFL, college football and MLB. But I will watch a good amount of college basketball starting around this time of year.

Yeah, this is what I'll mostly be doing on this thread. Every Saturday, when the action comes at you from all directions, I will sift through all the games OUTSIDE the Top 25 and give you guys the ones worth watching. So let's see the big action from this first Saturday of 2025:

The SEC is going to be brutal. Two undefeateds (Tennessee the other) and no team with more than three losses

Oklahoma is undefeated as well, so there are 3 unbeatens coming into today in the SEC. And yeah there are a lot of teams that look strong in the SEC

UNC barely squeaked a win over Notre Dame to go 9-6. Granted, the Heels have played a gruesome schedule. Kansas, Auburn, Alabama, Florida and others. But another no NCAA season in Chapel Hill will go over like flatulence in church. Could Hubert Davis be in trouble? Carolina had a real short leash with Matt Doherty.

Tennessee looked very good against Arkansas today.

Tennessee has looke good every day. Thy didn't play a taxing schedule but they have piss beat every team but one (beat a good Illinois by two). I thought they would take a step back without Dalton Knecht Four. Not so fast
