I THOUGHT they were just taking the stock photo from BBRef, but Mays has a photo on his BBRef page, so that didn’t pan out. Maybe it is a rights issue, but I suspect this site didn’t do their due diligence to acquire everyone’s individual NIL rights. Maybe there is some centralized organization that handles that, and Mays just isn’t part of the group? IIRC, Bonds’ image DOES appear on this site, and he is notorious for not joining these groups (he was never a part of the MLBPA, for example; that’s why he never appears in video games)

Dotel was a guess, I knew he played for a lot of teams and vaguely remembered him on the Jays but wasn't positive he played for the Tigers. He did play for 13 teams in his career, and Edwin Jackson with 16. You could pick them for most combinations and be correct. Jackson also would have fit the Detroit/Toronto square

The confusion for me today came from the 40+ homers and Rookie of the Year. I hesitated and almost put Harper/Howard/etc. because I knew they'd gotten the ROY award but didn't know if their 40+ home run season had to also be the ROY season. But I digress.

I assumed the “2” seasons had to be the same season, but I agree that it is a bit ambiguous. Though, based on the spirit of the grid, I think they do have to overlap.

So you probably know a bunch of people who play the Wordle or similar brain games every day. Here’s a baseball one my friend sent me that my guys and I have been playing for the last week. Pretty fun for those who like trivia, brain games, and baseball.

Last couple days have been pretty easy. Toughest thing on this game is going to fast and using a player for one square before realizing they could be used much more efficiently on a different square where there are less known options.

I think pretty much every day I pull one guy competely outta my ass. And when I go to check their career after it turns out they played like 50 games total for the team I used them for.

Just did it today. Pulled Shelby Miller for Dbacks/Pirates. Turns out that mofo pitched 10 2/3 innings for pirates haha
