Me too on 7 of 9
I had a fat finger and put CC Sabathia in the wrong grid. I also jumped the gun on Kershaw being in the 3,000 K club. Fixed it with Scherzer but it was too late.

I like your idea about points and a multiplier. I would also add that they have a one mulligan rule for times when I have a fat finger haha.
I only had one player the same as yours while also getting 7 of 9. And I had him listed in a different spot. I can't tell you who he is, but some of his best quotes are listed below.

Cant make sense of the grid...not sure if players are supposed to have been on both teams or not?

Correct. You place a box by looking to see what’s all the way at the left, and what’s all the way at the top. For instance the first box on the top left hand side calls for a player who played for both the Royals and the Red Sox. Then moving one box over to the right, you pick a player that played for both the Royals and the Guardians/Indians franchise. Etc etc etc..

Ahh, got it now.

Also, fuck this shit. I don't care enough/know enough about baseball anymore to get more than 3 or 4 on any given day. I mean, there must be over a jillion players that have played for multiple teams

Yeah it’s freaking tough! The good news is that a baseball fan of any age can participate. I often go for players from the 80s and 90s when I was a kid and still collecting baseball cards. I was the kid who didn’t give a fuck about mint condition and don’t open the pack blah blah blah. I used to read the backs of baseball cards for fun. My dad used to get us the Topps baseball sticker books every year as well. My brother and I got the full 1986 Topps set just for sending in the backs to the stickers we collected. Then when we were 19 and 17 my parents went on a vacation to Jamaica without us and made the mistake of leaving us alone thinking we could be trusted. We couldn’t be trusted. We sold the 1986 Topps set to a baseball card store for $47 and used it to buy the keg for the rager we threw. Whenever I bring it up to my brother saying we were young and dumb and should have found another way to get the keg, his response is always “Don’t care. Got laid.”

Hahah! Any idea what that set would be worth today, if you hadn't sold it for beer?

I never could get into cards. I had a friend in high school who had over 14,000 of them; his dad had started the collection when he was a kid. He always said, "they're never going to be worth anything in my lifetime, they're just cool to keep"

Just looked it up and it’s only about $60 now haha. We actually didn’t make a bad deal now in hindsight.

Got 7 out of 9 today but was lucky with having the Mariners in there.

I thought Bret Saberhagen would have struck out 200 for the Royals. Pretty much guessed on Bartolo Colon to be the Texas/Indians combo

A friend gave me a tip:
Any Milwaukee Brave would also work for any use of the Milwaukee Brewers.

Nope. Your friend might have come under that misapprehension by using Hank Aaron as a Brewer answer not realizing he in fact played for the Brewers at the end of his career. Or is messing with you.

7/9 Could not think of Bos/Sea or Bos/Tex for the life of me. I knew Teddy played for the Senators, but I wasn’t certain WHICH Senators he played for. Apparently, it was the Twins version.IMG_2141.jpeg

9 for 9 in back to back days. I have to thank my fandom of Mike Schmidt for knowing so many guys in the 500 HR club and some former Phillies whose careers I followed after leaving.

Really surprised at the percentage for Winfield, Mays and Alomar. Where are those guesses going?
