Seahawks are 4 deep at RB, however Walker is the only home run type on the roster. Charbs and Martinez (who I think is great) are more the power runner type. No market for RBs especially on expiring contracts and injury prone. So as Shark said, McIntosh will likely end up on the PS and they will go with a committee at RB with Walker being the starter. Should be a really good RB corp that has the depth to handle injuries.

Gotta say I'm having a blast with them in Madden lol.

I did ditch Darnold though. The AI still blows through the OL... at least with Milroe I can scramble fast. Hopefully that wont be the case come the NFL season.

It does kind of seem like Seattle finally has a TEAM. When I say that, guys that are trying and showing up, and wanting to be there. Last year we had DK whining about a contract, Geno wanting to get incentives and be paid, both were mopey little whiners... Williams quit on the team (Connor not Leonard), Bradford kind of had a mopey presence... I think the D stepped up but there was issues there too (with Dodson/Baker namely).

It seems like now we actually have a group together that wants to unite, try, and push hard. I really credit the org for going after Kupp/D Law because those guys are the definition of locker room leaders. And Zabel "Are you ready to get to work?" the first thing he said to Mike? Yah... more guys like that please...

going into 2024 i was really worried about our linebackers, I am still a little worried about our linebackers. If that position had been stronger in the draft it would have done us good to come away with a 2nd or 3rd round pick but the meat didnt go into the 2024 draft as far as linebackers go. Also with the change in college ball these linebackers are now 220-230 pound guys not the 6 foot 2+ 245+pound 4.4-4.5 guys. They are turning the bigger CB into middle linebackers in College lol.

Eh I'm pretty good with our LB department actually (if talking interior). Given Jones got a new contract he is 100% healthy, and Knight will go down as a steal at this rate. I also liked picking up Jackson who I think will end up on the PS but his speed is off the charts for his weight as off ball LB or ILB. There could be something there in the future. I wouldn't mind the kid getting a shot at some point.

Perfectly fine with Knight/Jones and Thomas going into 2025. AND you've got Emmanwori, who will likely be playing a LB/S hybrid role, so that might take Knight/Jones out of some plays every so often (allowing rest or in the worse case dealing with an injury).

What I'm a little more concerned with on D is we didn't really address NT and I really don't want to see Murphy lining up as 1 tech (didn't really do 0 tech) 24/7 this year. Resigning Hankins meh. What was really weird last year is a couple times we put Hankins on the field lined up as a 3 tech and STILL had Murphy as the 1 tech. Weird stuff... I know Murphy is frustrated with it. I feel if we keep putting Murphy as a 1 tech (constantly getting slammed by 2 DL) he's going to want to leave after a few years. I know last year Mac had to fix the crap linebacking, and it was his first year. I really hope they evolve the DL more and get Murphy moving around... Reed can also play 1 tech, so it's not like Murphy is the only guy that can do it.
