This team is built to win now, I'd feel better giving CK another year to learn. But my hope is that Manning signs and it all works out.

yeah, they'll be an adjustment for any QB coming in now. might not be a lot since we do have an off-season, but there will be something.

sometimes a team has things 'go their way', it felt like that last year. i like to call this the chemistry, it just mixed well. agree 13-3 again seems too much expectation, even with Manning.

Agreed. If McNabb had some left in the tank, then why did the Vikings decide to replace him with Ponder? I don't want McNabb. I would rather have Hasselback.

Super Bowl or bust for the next 2-3 years. The starting QB will have a tremendous amount of pressure on their shoulders.

we beat teams with great defense. when we needed offense smith performed more often than not. we were completely depleted of wr's because of injuries.

i think our d should be slightly better as aldon and culliver grow into their roles. on offense we have viable options now and vernon should play much better this year.

This scenario is only bad if Peyton chooses the Broncos. If he chooses the Titans then Hass wouldn't be a bad 1 year fill in.

If we lose out on Manning we'll likely get Smith unless he signs somewhere before we find out what happens with Manning.

Hurt feelings or not 49ers would be by far Smith's best option for success and money. If you want a longer deal and more money go out and perform and prove everyone wrong and that you're worth it.

If we lose both Manning and Smith we than CK starts and we'll likely bring in Josh Johnson as insurance/competition.

At this point CK isn't likely to get a whole lot better on the bench so if he's the man than we might as well find out and let him loose.
