I am sure Dr. Tom handled it just fine Brasky... and Wisconsin will learn how to handle success the more they have it... If Alverez was with Dr. Tom on the cart...I would bet he heard some of this... so let Barry deal with his own house.

No worries... from what I have heard... they were not near as bad as some of those places we have played and had beer thrown on fans/players or spit or balloons full of piss... and such...

Just saying...

It appears Barry Alvarez did in fact deal with his own issues... as I knew he would... Not sure what this means for badger fans... but the article shows this has been an issue for other teams fans as well...

No worries... they will work it out...:yo:

If a few kids have to hear swears to make a rivalry, i'm with fine with that.

one day when you have kids of your own you'll understand why this is wrong

The funny thing is the title of this thread, compared to the actual story....which is the student section.

The other funny thing is....none of this shit is even new. Barry tried to get the student section to stop swearing a decade ago. Same result. "We don't really think swearing is a big deal."

So here you all are having a party over it like you're proving something...meanwhile nobody else in the B1G cries about it like all y'all, and nobody in Wisconsin is paying nearly as much attention to it....

because we're just moving on to the next win.

Like I said a long time ago..........I don't even honestly give a shit :D...........I just enjoy all the talk creating this rivalry.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Nebraska/Wisconsin will be a huge deal every time they play.

Funny how this comes up after Nebraska loses...I bet this wouldn't have been brought up if they won. What a bunch of pussies.

I usually don't participate in these things, because I like to actually watch the game (unlike many students) and am not defending it, but people don't realize that many of these students wouldn't be going to these games if it weren't for the drinking before and after the game, ESFU chant, jump around etc. For some it is probably a factor on why they chose to come to the UW. I and most season ticket holders have become accustomed to these things.

And to finish up the rant, if the A.D. was serious about this letter, they should consider not playing Build me up buttercup, Sweet caroline and jump around on the PA.

I am an Ohio State alumnus, & when I took my 12 year old son to the Badgers- Buckeyes game last year, the fans were reprehensible. They chanted "f you, a-holes" at us, & repeatedly pushed my son "on accident" until I switched him seats, & then they pushed me. They were completely vulgar to the three older ladies who had driven from Columbus, with one telling them, "Sit down & shut the f up, you old prunes" & "quit bi@%$ing & go the f home" when they commented that the game hadn't turned out as they had hoped. The ladies weren't loud or rude, they were sweet little old ladies who came to see one's great nephew play. Don't get me wrong.... Ohio State fans can be brutal as well. You mix alcohol, kids, & football, & it is a volatile combination. But these Badger fans were SO far out of line that I decided then & there that I would never set foot back in Camp Randall. I don't let my child act like that, or talk that way. There is no way I will pay for him to see that behavior.

Yep Nebraskans are whining fans and Sconians are classy. :L

I think every Husker fan on here has congratulated Wisky on the game and said they beat them outright even if Martinez hadn't melted down.

This is a completely separate subject but if you feel better making it because we lost, go ahead but what you going to blame it on next year when Wilson is gone? What happened to and around an OSU fan is not class. Go ahead and talk shit but kids and old ladies (most ladies really) are off limits. That isn't just classless it is pathetic.

The last line says it all. Football is a spectator sport for all ages and yes it is only a small segment of the fans but it is all fans I have seen so far that says "I don't agree with it but they wouldn't come to the games if they couldn't do that". It's amazing how many other schools sell tickets without this.

I'll be in Lincoln for the game loaded with piss balloons to share with my fan base and yours. I've already started pissing in balloons as of last week.

Shoot that stuff will be fine wine by the time that November game rolls around. Just add a little sugar and grape juice. :D
