So I've been saying since the media started calling Vick an elite QB that it isn't going to last. He's in the best situation possible (under Reid), and he had a great season last year; but it never lasts with this guy. He never had the body to put up with the punishment his style of play requires IMO.
Defenses figured out how to defend Vick late last year. This year they've been ready for him, and he's done what he's always done. He fumbled 4 times so far this season (lost 2 of 'em I think; can't remember if it was 2 or 3), and he got injured.
Vick is the definition of a streaky player. He has obscene highs & really low lows. In the long run that doesn't amount to an elite QB.
I said the same thing about McNabb (more Reid) He one a great year too, but overall his play was far worse than his accolades depict. In fact his career numbers were below the average QB play of his era. And he was garbage in Washington without Reid. Rex friggn' Grossman is doing better than he did.
