I saw on the Bengals Twitter feed that Hawkins is back at practice today. He's got the weeks to be either activated our out on season ending IR.

It sounds promising if he is practicing.

With the emergence of Marvin Jones, it makes me wonder where he would fit. Jones has been getting passes and has also demonstrated nice talent on screens and run plays. Those screens and runs were Hawk's plays last year -- But Jones also offers the ability to get separation and make plays downfield which is something that Hawk did much less.

I suppose he could take Dane's position.

At least he can be there for the next major injury. Depth, as we know, is vital. I would like to see him challenge Tate as a kick returner.

if nothing else he gives you more versatility on offense and that is never a bad thing.
