If you told me they'd go 3-2, I'd sign up for that right now to close out the month. 4 Q1 games and PSU at home. That would put us at 12-9, 6-5 heading into February. Would probably be enough to have us on the right side of the bubble.

That's one of those games that could come back to haunt us. It was there for taking, but we turned it over

This is one of strangest B1G season I can recall, although it's early and there could be a recency effect going on

I like their chances at Tourney if they can get to 500 or just above in the B1G.....

I think 11-9 might be good enough. Would put us 17-13 heading into the B1G tournament. Top 10 SoS overall, top 25 OOC SoS, is really strong. Which would be 9 Q1/Q2 wins heading into the B1G tournament. Assuming we beat NW on the road and take care of our home games.

There just really arent any awful lossee in the league this year unless you lose a home game to NW or Nebraska . 12 teams in the top 40 of NET is almost ridiculous more than halfway through the season

I still think losing at NW or Nebraska is still a bad loss. They've both lost to some awful teams at home this season. I know Nebraska has played better at home in the B1G, but I think losing away at those places will wind up a Q3 loss in the end. Plus it just takes away from getting an extra win. There is a big difference between winning 11 games and 10 and 10 games and 9. So in that regard it's a double whammy. For instance if the Gophers go undefeated at home in B1G play(not likely, I know), and manage to beat NW at NW, even though it won't register, it's simply a win, and it would be the difference between finishing 2 games over .500 and 4 games over .500. You just got to beat those two teams, because it's gonna be hard to win anywhere else.

True i guess i mean it from the committee perspective. Im not so sure theyll end up Q3 losses if you lose on the road. Given where eveyone else sits its entirely possible those end up Q2 if NW or Neb even only get to 5/6 B10 wins. They simply wont fall much by losing and will jump a lot even with sporadic wins

Garza went 25 minutes without scoring ( 16 minutes of the first half to 11 in the 2nd ) and he still scored 27 lol

The Illini have cracked the top 25. Not really sure they deserve #24, but they are there. Biggest disappointment was the loss to Maryland. They had that game until the last 6 minutes. Kofi Cockburn is a stud for a freshman.
