B10 now has 4 teams in the top 20, 7 teams in the top 30 and 12!! teams in the top 50 of NET. 12..... in the top 50. Including Rutgers. Lol

We are now top 40 in KenPom and we're top 30 in NET coming in to today. 35th in Sagarin. We certainly have the metrics of a tournament team at this moment. And we have two quad 1 wins at the moment. I'm really thinking 11-9 in B1G play will get us in. Have to take care of business at home and win at NW. I'm glad with where we are all things considered, given we've played 5 games away from the Barn.

With L'villes loss yesterday, I would say right now there's 5 teams that are deserved of high seeds and that's Duke, Gonzaga, OSU, Auburn and San Diego State.

Beyond that, so many teams have a similar resume of one really good win or a few good wins, and then a couple of losses.

St Johns has beaten 2 teams in the Top 20 of NET, is 11-2, and they're next four out...

If the Big East and Big 10 cannibalize each other like I expect, NCAA is going to have a real problem with seeding this year.

I would throw Baylor and Butler into the mix of top seeds. I'm planning on doing my first bracketology today, it wouldn't surprise me if one of them landed on the top line. Probably at the expense of Auburn and maybe SDSU.

Butler has a large collection of pretty good wins but nothing marquee, theyre close.

I think Kansas resume is overrated but as usual they are masters of the RPI SOS. Regardless, I think they run away with the Big 12.

Beyond that, I think anybody's bracket should be based somewhat on eye test. Because the numbers and metrics are a jumble.

Butler doesn't have great wins, but I'd venture to say they have at least 3 wins over current tournament teams(Stanford, Minnesota, UF) and two other Q2 wins. Purdue may or may not be a tournament team at the moment.

My first bracket always tries to take into account current resume, with a slight projection because there are metrics that are out of wack.

Yep. Iowa has 4 Q1 wins. 25 in NET and is in the First 4 right now. Theres literally 30 teams with the same resume right now

They are good, they've obliterated a couple of pretty good teams.

I'd say they'd have to run through the MWC with two losses or less and with the way the top teams in the power conferences are playing this year, a 2 seed is areality.

Yeah ive seen them.

They definitely appear to be a quality team. But they would dream 2 seed for any potential 10/7 seed.

They are more like a top 20 team.
