Illinois won, but also looked like shit. Needing OT to beat Nicholls, who was 14-17 last year in the mighty Southland Conference.

Cincy games are almost unwatchable typically. Reaching, grabbing, shoving. Refs usually wont / cant call everything so it just ends up being slow and ugly

That first half was a fugly fat chick.

2nd half way better.

Some stuff to work on but some stuff to like. Good to get a win against a better opponent to start the year regardless.

I hate to look ahead to next season because this one just started, but we should, in theory, be better next year with starting 3 sophomores and a junior this year. We have a top 100 kid coming in with Mashburn's son so that's a nice piece to have coming in. I don't think we'll get Garcia, but if we do, we should pretty easily be a top 25 team if that's the case.

Rutgers survives against Bryant 73-71. Bryant is rated #320 in KenPom. Would have been an absolute atrocious loss.

NW loses to something called Merrimack by double digits at home. That thing has gone down hill fast for Collins.

Disappointed with the loss against OU. Gophers just went cold in the 2nd half, from the field and from the FT line. OU also made some tough shots down the stretch.

So far the B1G hasn't looked all that good. Gophers lose to OU, Wisconsin loses to St Mary's, Purdue loses to Texas and Michigan State loses to UK. No shame in any of the losses, it's just missed opportunities for the conference. Nebraska and NW combined for 3 awful losses already. Rutgers and Illinois struggled with terrible teams.
