The uniforms Sparty had on yesterday were hideous.
Good win for Iowa tonight . Next 4 games are key to the season . All 4 are winnable ( at NW, OSU, at PSU, Illinois ). If we can get at least 3 of them I think we will be in a good spot for a tourney bid
If you all can beat OSU, even at home, I will be impressed. That was a good win over Nebraska. Nice shot to close out the first half, lol.
Big10 is much improved this year yet I still think they have 2 Of the most overrated pre season teams.
How the flying fuck did people think this Maryland team was a potential top 3 big10 team?
Jinx. Gophs bigs are pussies and the whole team still can’t make free throws
Fuck. That was a big letdown. Blew our wad against Fucking Sconsin.
Really nice win for Iowa in Evanston without Tyler Cook. Pretty surprised honestly
Ugh, we suck again
losing to Rutgers is a MAJOR letdown
now we play @Iowa and serious risk of starting the new year in conference 0-3.
Holy shit does Maryland look like shit in the first half tonight
Ohio St looks like they're collapsing a bit . Going to be I terestonh to see what happens with them over the next few weeks
Yeah I think they will start playing to the mean.
Preseason myself and many didn’t think they’d be very good at all.
Now they look real shaky.
Ultimately I think it’s in the middle. Solid team, tourney team. But not top 15.
Figured they'd do better than projected, but I was thinking anywhere between 5-8 was possible.
Yeah true . I had them 10th in the league preseason
Yup that’s exactly where I had them.
Big 10 is gonna be such a cluster
Ohio State has a ridiculous stretch coming up:
They really need to take their next 2 at home or they could be in some serious trouble.
I do think they are regressing to a certain extent, but perhaps we overrated them based on their two wins against Creighton and Cincy, who are looking like NIT teams at this point.
Well we are a third of the way through the league season . Let's see some predictions on how it's going to finish up
Badgers will continue to be overrated by national media based on their past success
I think there's a pretty clear separation between 2 and 3. And basically none between 3-10. It's gonna be a ridculously fun B1G season. I think 11-14 are pretty clear as well. I'll take a stab at it, but generally have no idea who is going to finish where.
2. Michigan State
10. Ohio State
12. Penn State
I also think the difference between 3-10 will be like 2/3 wins in the loss column. Wouldn't surprise me to see 3rd place finish something like 12-8.
Michigan's schedule gets pretty tough as well. They close January out with:
Still have to play Maryland and MSU twice, along with road games at Iowa and Minnesota in February.
Michigan will probably slip up at Michigan State, but that's probably a split with Michigan winning at home then. Wouldn't surprise me if they both went something like 18-2. I think both are that good. And while MD has gotten off to a good start, they've shown to be inconsistent. That's why they are lower rated in NET compared to teams like Nebraska and Purdue. But maybe that's just them being young at the beginning, and moving forward is who they are going to be.
Either way, this is going to be a fascinating year. It's nice to see after the last couple years have been lacking.
