I think the conferences with schools that focus on academics and believe in science will cancel. Others will soldier on. Looks like the National Championship will be between the ACC and the SEC again.

They still are the safest kids on campus; it's not like they're leaving. They just aren't traveling around the midwest. We have no idea what the long-term effects of COVID are. This heart stuff is coming out and it's particularly bad, even for young people. So your blanket statement is unknown.

So, now that your pussy conference pulled out prematurely, you want us to wallow in your misery. Not going to happen. We may ultimately pull the plug, but it won't be until we've given it more of an opportunity to turn around, which is happening as we speak.

As for the heart thing, that's just a new goal post for people that are looking for an out. Look at the info out there and you will see that any virus - mono, the common cold - can cause the heart problem. The key thing to it is having it diagnosed and managed and then it isn't a problem. That is best done through the athletic program with constant testing that they now won't get. It's also just a very small number of people who get COVID, which is already a very small percentage of people.

If you put a gun to my head, I'd say we don't get any CFB in any conference, because that is where we are in today's society. But, I don't get the B1G on this. What changed the past 6 days? Could easily have pushed the season start to late September and seen if cases and deaths continue to drop.

Fields will be heading to his NFL draft prep coach. He's done. Would assume all seniors and draft eligible juniors would do the same thing. They won't be waiting around for a "spring season" when the feckless presidents curled into a fetal position too soon. Not a chance they trust them.
