Start Korcheck and have him clobber Xavier Johnson. Then put Gordon in.

I'm okay with this being a close game: on the road, tough environment, top 25 RPI team.

What I'm not okay with is playing down to our competition.

Let's see if Mayes gets a couple of minutes. He seems to have gained some of his confidence back.

"We were playing the No. 1 team in the nation, but they weren’t that good,” Xavier Johnson said. “There’s no excuse for not getting the win.”

As for the next meeting in Colorado?

“That’ll be a 20-point blowout,” Johnson predicted.

#Blockinski was a non-factor vs the Buffs! Pissed me off.

What exactly is this measuring and how is it computed?

Theoretically, its a metric that shows the number of wins a player produces for his team because of his defensive ability.

If you're interested in the technical somewhat complicated formulas, here it is explained in detail by the site where I took the stat from.

If not, here's my quick and dirty explanation... Basically you take a player's points allowed per 100 defensive possessions and compare that to the margin of victory in his team's wins, adjusting for pace.

GOLD!!! random CU fan
Do you really want to go there with NBA success of former players? Considering the success that UA basketball has had, the NBA success of your players is an embarrassment. Is this accurate? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arizona...27s_basketball

It looks like you've had only 2 players (Gilbert Arenas - 3 and Sean Elliott - 2) ever make NBA All-Star teams. If I was a recruit, I'd see your history and realize that playing at Arizona is a good way to make sure you're not prepared for the NBA.

Hell, CU can match your NBA with the all-star appearances of Chauncey Billups and Scott Wedman.

(You really shouldn't have brought this up. It makes you look bad. We don't brag about the NBA impact of CU basketball and it's not much behind UA's with us having easily the best player.)

Watching College Game Day for the first time in years (it's in Boulder this morning)... and the fans who stand (freak out) behind the hosts are almost all Colorado fans, but right in the middle of the screen there is somebody holding up a big Block-A.

Way to represent, whoever you are.
