Surprising... but not surprising.

Honestly, I really liked the guy, but he was the odd man out. The WR corps has been completely overhauled and Pettis was the last holdover from the Spagnuolo era.

I don't expect him to be unemployed for very long, though. Hell... 100 bucks says he's a Seahawk by week's end.

Well he had his shot and it didn't work out but he is a good receiver and I think on a team with a better offense he will be successful. I sure hope he doesn't go to the SeaHawks. The Rams still need to play them again this year.

Yea, he was a decent receiver but when he got caught doing PEDs earlier with us and now this late meeting arrival, accountability may be the new by-word in Ramsland these days. Perhaps Fisher is feeling the potential heat if he loses another football game and gets shown the door himself. The next guy probably put on notice is Cook. He has simmered his antics way down since the shove of Davis a couple of two games or so ago. He is catching footballs and did not drop one pass yesterday. Buck up and play professional football or go flip burgers you freakin' egomanical a-holes is apparently the new order of things and it is indeed about time!!

He will probably team up with Danny Amendola and go on to the playoffs! I'm guessing/hoping the roster spot will be filled by a LBer!

What have you been watching?? 3rd down and 4th down @ Philly? And more polished than Bailey how? It's not even close. Bailey has been in the dog house because of his suspension, but Bailey is a far better WR than Pettis. You will see this soon. If he plays of course.

Usually he had good hands, but lately he dropped some money throws at crunchtime. Sorry, don't let the door hit yah.

I'm curious to see the moves to come, with 1 spot open now on the active roster and the practice squad. Long's return is still weeks away, so it wouldn't be for that.

Pettis was an OK receiver with usually reliable hands, but was definitely the lowest rung for the current crop of WRs.

Too me its looks like Fisher and company understand they have some talent depth for the first time since overhauling the roster.

Guys now can be shown the door for being knuckleheads because the talent depth on our roster is there. Now these knuckleheads are more detrimental to the team than the lose of borderline to decent NFL talent.
