EReid giving the home fans at home false hope telling us its not over - This game was over for the Heat when they decided to take their foot off the gas

Key to the game has been get Beasley in and get The Scrub Shane Battier out while we still had hope

Lots of bone-headed plays by LBJ at the end - safe to say his team bailed him out in this one.

LeBron James: 38 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists
Ray Allen: 19 points and 6 rebounds
Chris Anderson: 13 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks
Mario Chalmers: 12 points and 4 assists
Chris Bosh: 11 points, 4 rebounds and 4 blocks
Michael Beasley: 10 points and 7 rebounds

But the player of the game was once again - Shane Battier as a starter in 15 minutes 0-1 from 3 of course and 0 pts. At least he did not commit a foul, so thats improvement.

All of the Heat goals can only be accomplished in the postseason.

And when does the Heat ever worry about having the best record in December?
Much more concerned now about just staying healthy and then finding a way to grind out wins 9-16 in the playoffs.

Congrats to you though on that nice performance in Phoenix tonight.
Just think, your once proud team is now much worse then the team that was predicted to be the worst team in the West.
Then for the icing on the cake, how many draft picks were given to them for Nash?

Either Atlanta has improved tremendously or you guys are starting to suck. Which is it?

Miami needs to step up the defense of the 3 pt line. The Hawks usually do not shoot well from the arc.

21-6 and this is the best start in Heat Franchise history for 27 games in... We know how the last 3 seasons went and this season we are starting even better... and yet everyone says Miami is done. lol

Hawks were shooting near 70% from downtown through 3 qtrs ( hitting what? 15-16 3's) yet still barely lead the game.

All we really learned last night is that the Hawks at their best will struggle to win any games vs the Heat.
In a 7 game series they would be fortunate to ever see a game 6.

It also means that you guys will have to play a whole lot better than you have been in order to take down the Pacers in a 7 game series. Personally, I don't think the Heat will get past them this year.

We shall see. The Hawks look better but you are not going to consistently shoot over 50% from 3 point range. Thanks for giving us a great game (fun to watch) without our 2nd best player.

I agree the Heat will have to play much better then they have so far this season to win the ECF and Finals.
All things considered though, they have shown that they have the ability to do just that.
The Pacers are good, but I still fail to see the day that they suddenly became better then the Heat.
The Heat beat them every single time they HAD to.
Until that changes, they ( the Heat) are always the team to beat.
