Question for you guys.

I guess I haven't watched too many Broncos home games lately, because I was surprised by something on Sunday. Watching Ryan audible at will against a hostile crowd that at least has the reputation of being smart and loud.

What's the deal with the crowd noise or lack thereof in Denver?

Also, was Sambraillo hurt yesterday?
It was never a competitve game.. The crowd is about defense and while the defense was ok the feeling for me was the offense never had chance after the 1 at quarter. The Falcons came up with a lot of plays on first downs which takes a crowd out.
Denver Having the ball at the end of the half and getting it to start the 3rd was the key and the offense crapped the bed. Even when the defense set up the offense at mid field they really never sniffed the end zone.

And thanks for the replies gents, in no way am I trying to stir up anything. Just curious. The old stadium was LOOOUUUD!

The current stadium design makes it a lot harder to generate the crowd noise. The design for the Seahawks stadium is brilliant because it captures that sound at the top. Our stadium just releases it out the top. Nice looking stadium, but they really should have given more thought to acoustics and crowd noise.

Ah, ok, that makes more sense to me then. Was just weird HEARING Ryan barking out signals in Denver.

Ryan was going silent count the whole time at least through 3 qtrs . The RG would touch the center when it was time to snap the ball. In the first half, while the game was still in doubt, the crowd cause Ryan to take 2 of the team's 3 timeouts and the other timeout was lost due to a failed replay challenge. What ATL did well was execute on 1st and 2nd down. 3rd down they were 2 for 12 terrible actually.
