That's all that needs to be said here.

We can try to compare Bo to Tom Osborne and all this shit.........it's pointless........you can't compare a 9-3 season to another 9-3 season when one was a team that lost games not being competitive and the other was a team losing games while at least being competitive.

This is as plain and simple as it gets, Bo Pelini needs to find a way to get his team to be more competitive. Saying we just can't be physical enough right now is a piss poor excuse. We were more physical than a Michigan State team who was more physical than the same Michigan team that was way more physical than us on Saturday. It happens when you don't get your team ready to go.

We didn't come to play. We didn't execute. We were not focused. We turned the ball over. We couldn't convert a first down. We had the ball for 18 minutes and they had the ball for 42 minutes. Everything we did sucked.

They out-coached us, out-smarted us, out-physicaled (is that a word?) us, out-everythinged us.

Nebraska could have won that game. That is bullshit to say we just don't have the guys to be compete with their physical level of play.

I don't ever want to lose, but if we're going to lose, don't get absolutely pummeled by a team that's no better than you are. No more excuses. Bo Pelini is not on the hot seat, but if Bo Pelini doesn't think that something needs to change, then he is just going to keep getting the same results. It's about preparation, mentally and physically, and we weren't prepared Saturday. End of story.

Off the top of my head without looking at stats; Lance Thorell, Austin Cassidy, Sean Fischer, Seung Hoon Choi, Taylor Martinez, (insert any wide receiver name) are all lesser talent than Michigan.

K-State very rarely has any abundance of talent on their team. Whether or not Nebraska has as much talent as Michigan, I don't know (that's subjective), I DO know that Nebraska has always had more talent on their teams than K-State has.

And, look at what they've done this year - like 'em or not (that's for you HH), those kids are playing with heart for all 4 quarters. They get out ran, out passed, out "physicaled" (not a word JJM but it works), yet they keep finding ways to win.

Whatever talent those of you think or don't think we have, JJM's point is well heard with me; play like you fucking mean it, and we're not seeing that out of all of them for all 4 quarters of every game.

There are those on the team who I believe do this, but they're not the majority of them, and apparently not enough of an example (insert coaching staff reference here) to motivate the ENTIRE team to go out there and whoop some ass every time they touch the turf.

I agree we outphysicalled (I don't care if it's a word or not. I like it!) Michigan State. BUT, that was the anomalous game for us this year. We either out talented (in the case of Washington, Wyoming, Fresno and Minnesota), got lucky to face a team with a monumental internal problem at it's media zenith (Penn State) or we got out physicalled (Wisconsin, Michigan, Northwestern, Ohio State). Of course we were additionally lucky Braxton Miller was put out of the Ohio State game with a non-contact injury.

Its too bad a bunch of you are getting disallusioned. Your blind faith to the team actually had a positive effect on me. How else can you explain that I would predict a 34-13 win over Michigan and a win this friday.

I personally need to see 2 more disappointing seasons or a another performence like last year's Holiday Bowl to start asking for Bo's head. FYI, we have not had a Holiday Bowl type performence this year. If the game with Ohio State had a second half like the first, that game would have qualified. It didn't- so the Bo experiment continues with my full suppport.

I shall disagree with this statement.

Iowa found a way to beat Michigan...........so did Michigan State.
