Smith or Hieneke
I don’t think there are many who wouldn’t want AS, if healthy. Who is this ‘lots’?Man a lot of you Wash fans REALLY want someone other than Smith to play QB lol
Just been a lot of "Haskins should still be starting " threads or posts and now this threadI don’t think there are many who wouldn’t want AS, if healthy. Who is this ‘lots’?
For me, I don’t want him injured for life or rupturing an Achilles by playing too soon.
Clearly you are not following this board. Most posters are glad DH has been relieved of his duties here in DC. That really leaves us with Smith (not healthy obviously) and Hieneke. Obvious to everyone Smith should play if healthy. We all know he is not so....Just been a lot of "Haskins should still be starting " threads or posts and now this thread
Smith at 75% is a better option in this type of game imoClearly you are not following this board. Most posters are glad DH has been relieved of his duties here in DC. Like last week, probably a test on Friday to see how the calf responds Sat morning and likely again Sunday during warm ups to determine. I'm saying a game time decision will be made. After some thought. I don't think Alex should play, even if green lighted by the medical staff. In fact I think he needs to end his season and give his calf/his leg time to rest n heal. That said. Watching ESPN right now and their saying he was sidelined at practice today and Hieneke took all 1st team reps.
Smith at 75% couldn't produce marginal results when he was playing. At 75% he couldn't push off the leg properly or get behind his throws using his legs as he admittedly said after the game. An effective game manager Alex Smith requires a healthy Alex Smith. I hope he can play though.Smith at 75% is a better option in this type of game imo

I'm a Smith believer. The way the offense performs with him at the helm can infuriate me at times, but I can say that about every QB the Skins have had since their last Super Bowl win. And unlike every other Skins QB in that time. AS has led the Skins to twice as many wins as losses. The reason I don't want him to play Sunday is I'm looking towards 2021. I'm sure he's coming back next year and while I don't see him leading the Skins to SB glory next year. I super cereal don't see him or any other Skins QB doing it this year. So I want AS to stand down and begin the healing process as well as avoiding any possibility of re-injuring/injuring himself further by playing anymore this year. Its obviously Smith if he's cleared and wants to play .

I dont get it honestly
