As for SB:
Browns, who easily took care of the Patriots 31-17 in the AFC title game, quite handily take care of the Saints, who survived a Dogfight vs Seattle 24-20 in the NFC Championship, 35-7.
Folks have a tough time letting go of the fact that the Pack is no longer amongst the elite. I pointed out when I first joined SportsHoopla that year after year you could count on at least a half dozen or more analysts predicting the Pack would win the SB. As recently as last preseason Tony Romo, the current #1 analyst by most pundits, had the Pack winning it all.Why so many people picking Green Bay? Outside of Rodgers the cupboard is empty
Yep, Rodgers is amongst the ELITE of ALL TIME ELITE QBs, but he has declined a little. Yes he's still an elite BBC QB but not like he was.Folks have a tough time letting go of the fact that the Pack is no longer amongst the elite. In a strong sense, it was a credit to the immense talent of Rodgers, who up until his early season injury in '17, was IMO the best all around QB in the league. He was so fucking good that most of these experts failed to recognize the Packers decline in just about every other phase of their game. While he's still one of the best, Rodgers just hasn't been the same since returning from that injury. And once his play declined a bit, this exposed the lack of talent in the remaining roster.
The only modern team to have that kind of turnaround that I can think of is the 2012-2013 Chiefs as they went from arguably the worst coach and worst QB in the league to a top 15 QB and a top 5 coach. If the Cardinals actually knocked it out of the park in the draft and got QB play, they'd be a sneaky pick.

NFC flips every year. Definitely wouldn't give the Rams the same level of confidence as the Patriots.I'm also not sold on GB.
Until further notice, it's going to be New England and the five dwarfs in the AFC, and the Rams and five dwarfs in the NFC

AFC
Patriots 15-1 *
Chargers 10-6
Browns 10-6
Colts 10-6
Jaguars 10-6
Chiefs 10-6
NFC
Falcons 10-6
Vikings 10-6
Seahawks 10-6
Eagles 10-6
Saints 10-6
Rams 10-6
* Patriots schedule of opponents
Home: CLE, PIT, DAL, NYG, BUF, MIA, NYJ, KC
Away: BAL, CIN, PHI, WAS, BUF, MIA, NYJ, HOU
Pathetic! How the hell does the reigning Superbowl champs get such a pansy ass schedule?!?
According to the above, that would be a grand total of three games played against playoff teams and the only road game is against the team they recently lost to in the Superbowl [and will have a little bit extra fire in the belly to avenge]. The only reason I don't have them going 16-0 is because they're bound to shit the bed in one random game (like losing to the Lions 10-26 last year). ...The game in Landover fits.

I agree and as long as Rodgers remains healthy, they can't be taken lightly. My point was for the last 6-8 years they have been overhyped. They actually made some good offseason moves, still not sure they are a playoff team but I think they will be in the hunt.
