The full starting lineup for the American League: George Springer RF, DJ LeMahieu 2B, Mike Trout CF, Carlos Santana 1B, J.D. Martinez DH, Alex Bregman 3B, Gary Sanchez C, Michael Brantley LF, Jorge Polanco SS. Justin Verlander will take the mound first for the AL squad.


Josh Bell will DH and bat sixth for the National League in Tuesday night's 2019 MLB All-Star Game.
The full starting lineup for the National League: Christian Yelich LF, Javier Baez SS, Freddie Freeman 1B, Cody Bellinger RF, Nolan Arenado 3B, Josh Bell DH, Willson Contreras C, Ketel Marte 2B, Ronald Acuna CF. It's the youngest starting lineup in All-Star Game history. Hyun-Jin Ryu will be the first pitcher on the mound for the NL, opposing Justin Verlander.

I know it's all edgy and tough to not give a shit about the All Star game, but why not actually enjoy it if you like the sport? You're seeing the best all on the field at once, that's what you watch right? Excellence?

And the even dumber HR Derby, tonight is a fantastic one, very entertaining. Vlad Jr is a beast. Pederson too.

That's because today's players are in their prime youth forging their careers, just like those guys were in 1986. They aren't HOFers....yet.

Someday you will look back and say whoa man 2019 had Trout, Yelich, Bellinger, etc Many of the guys in the game tonight will be in the Hall of Fame.

That's all they can do to try to reach younger fans, hype up the young guys with pizzazz like Vlad Jr, Acuna, Yelich, Harper. Gotta be more personalities in the game, and more fun and emotion.

I haven't watched the derby for years because of that reason. I love the all-star game though. It's the only all-star game in professional sports where the defense actually tries.
