I'm certainly not saying Romo has had a better career than PManning, Brees or Big Ben....but as we stand here today, 9/13/15, I will give you Rodgers and Brady, but after those two, Romo is the best QB in the game today

I believe he has more 4th quarter come from behind victories than any QB in the league since 2011, and that was before last night. Not too shabby for a dude that supposedly only crumbles in those moments.

Yeah, people will always go back to the dropped extra point....how many teams have their starting QB holding on an extra point? I'm imagining how absurd it would be to see Aaron Rodgers holding SMH. Not to mention the ball was slick, anyone might have dropped that one. He's really remade his image IMO

This is why I have never been a fan of the ring argument. One of those guys playing last night is likely a first ballot HOF, while the other is clearly better and has been for a while

I think Sonny Jerguson is the only HOF QB to never play in a championship game of any kind. He went to one as the back up but never played.

Now that's limited company

Is that true? Makes for a very good trivia question. I'm going to use that one

Just read Jurgeson never even started a playoff game. Moon played in CFL championships. I actually thought he played in the AFC title game but he didn't

I thought he's had more come from behind wins since 2009.

that's why I always thought it funny when redskin fans slammed Romo for his playoff record.
Sonny remains a God in DC....go figure

I'd take Romo over Eli in an instant. Tony has gotten a bum rap from many unknowledgeable football fans.

Tony may be the most under-appreciated QB in the NFL.
I'm not sure about that. Many of his knocks are well deserved. But, he is a very Good QB and has performed very well lately both throughout the game, at crunch time and in the playoffs. He still does some stupid and reckless things IMO that keep him from being in the conversation of the elite QBs.

Brett Favre did lots of stupid and reckless things but most likely will be a first ballot HOF selection.

it just makes me laugh when people say he is overrated and how he isn't a top 10 Qb in the NFL. There are still many that just think hey he throws 30 TDs a year and 4000 yds - so what - so does .............. He chokes is one of his big knocks. If you don't think Eli was shitting his pants the other night when he knew Romo was gonna get the ball back after his huge mistake, you are crazy. All QBs make mistakes. Some though just get blamed more than others. GB / Seattle last yr NFC championship- many people will remember the missed onside kick or the DB just taking a knee on the INT. what they fail to remember is Rodgers testing Sherman early and getting picked in the end zone. He later threw another one as well. Can you imagine if Romo threw that pick in the Superbpwl that Wilson did.?
