the acc currently has just one other team ranked. acting like we are anything but the favorites to win the acc is a complete joke. our unique style of play gives us a major advantage as most of the ACC teams have never faced us before. plus duke already lost in ACC play and has to play UNC twice. we will most likely end up with a 1 seed.

The problem was not exposed, it was an exception. Again, you fail to realize that we just held the best FG% team to 40%.

No doubt. Cuse's track record for getting past the Sweet 16 is abysmal.

Not to mention, I still think if a #1 seed is ever going to get knocked off, it'll be Cuse.

Boeheim simply refuses to play man defense (last time he did it they ended up losing to Le Moyne) and the 2-3 zone is vulnerable to teams that get hot from outside.

What do 16 seeds typically look like? Undermanned, undersized crap teams that usually just end up jacking 3s all game. All it takes is one hot team and down goes Cuse.

It may never happen, but if it does, my money is on Cuse being the victim.

this is the first I have ever heard someone say "if syracuse gets a 1 seed they wont make the FF" cuz no one and i mean NO ONE has said that to me this year.that is as stupid as a statement as it gets. and here's why.

the east region of the NCAA tournament does not leave the state of New York until the final four

not at all. i won't say it yet, but i have a sneaking suspicion i would favor Kentucky over you guys if you ended up playing in the tourney. they aren't there yet, but i have a feeling they will get there. that might end up being the team i want to play the least by the end of the year, even though we won't know for sure since they have the even-crappier-than-the-ACC schedule in the SEC

(for those not aware, Dallas was completely shut down due to an ice storm) When even in the bad conditions they already had 12% in the fucking stadium anyway. You went on to equate a snow storm in Syracuse to an ice storm in Dallas as if those are the same fucking thing. Basically, you're a fucking idiot.

If you can't score more than 50 (especially against crappy teams) you probably aren't going to make it very deep in the tournament.

LMAO now you really don't know your BB. cal struggles against zone. of all the teams you could have named UK would be the last one that I would pick. remember that it was SU who knocked off IU last year. we really dont struggle with NBA level talent that much. It is almost an advantage to us because they come in a bit cocky and think they can outwork the zone.

trolly is correct we struggle with teams playing at a slow pace and shoot 3s like its lights out. teams that have a lot of patience, experience, and generally 4 year and well rounded players



the biggest ??? for us heading into the tourny will be our seasonal pace. we are used to a brutal end of year conf. schedule and i really dont know what kind of effect ending on a very soft final four games will have on us.

going from BE/msg to greensboro/gtech, uva, umd & fsu is going to be unique. but i think it makes us better rested if anything but something that boeheim has never had to deal with before.
