It was enough on a night they need him to overcome the coaches spotting the other team 7.

He played a fine game. No mistakes, looked like we expect him to look. They picked up blitzes too, go figure...

BYU up next.

Have to give some credit on the kicking game. Made what they were supposed to so that's a plus.

Some weird places in the game, but a better overall called game after that opening play stupidity.

Still have a LOT of work to do on punt/kick coverage. They are for sure missing Vea and don't appear interested in blitzing to make QB's move if they can't rush with 4. At times they seemed unable to wrap up and get off blocks in the run game, but it didn't kill them.

Work. They've got shit to work on for sure.
