Every team is paper thin when they have injuries to key players.

i remember Drew Stanton played pretty well before he also got hurt last year. I wouldn't mind seeing him take over at QB and just hope Palmer retires, but that won't happen

in any event, if Cards get back to playoffs next year, and they should considering their overall talent, i don't see how Palmer is going to magically turn into a clutch playoff QB

This season by his standard was not good but it was still probably a better season than a 49ers QB has had this millennium.
