In a stunning turn of events, Arian Foster has announced his immediate retirement.

His body got the best of him, it seems. Wish him well on a great run.

We have to hope Jay Ajayi continues his run and that we are able to develop the guys behind him -- And we have to see whats out there for depth

The Fins have some depth at RB. D Williams is averaging 4 yards a carry this year & has a TD in each of his last 2 games. When healthy K Drake reminds me of L Miller. The Fins may still add a RB off the waiver wire. I Pead was released by the team earlier this month but showed glimpses of talent in preseason. Re-signing him could be an option. The bye week will allow the team to get healthier & that should help at the RB position.

Jay Ajayi has been an absolute powerhouse. He's been running guys over after decisively hitting the hole. The Fins block well as a team. The Oline are winning their individual matchups and getting to the next level. Also the other players are contributing. J Landry blocks like a champ. It's most obvious on the long runs how much effort he puts into every play.

J Ajayi has been pass blocking well also. This team looks to be well coached. The Fins just need to minimize the penalties. Their offense is capable of being dynamic. If the Fins can run on the Steelers & Bills then they can run on just about any team. It should also create more opportunities in the passing game because teams have to respect the Fins' running game.

I wish him the best but it was definitely time you could see it in his play. This will give Drake more opportunities to grow so overall the best move for all parties. Enjoy retirement Arian!!!!

Bummer.

He looked pretty good week one, but once it took him so long to come back with the groin injury you kind of knew it wasn't going to be a good situation.
