Are the lightning a contender ?

I will say this tho, taletnwise, they're just as good if not better than the Bruins, Canadiens, & Rangers. For NHL 15, Lightning will be a fun team to play. I just question the system. That question does have the ability to be answered in a big way tho. But for now I have my questions.

Drouin and stamkos are going to be fun to put on a line for sure.

Ya I agree we are at step 2 compete for the division. As I said I could see boston tampa or Montreal winning the division. I'm not saying cooper is with those coaches yet but he came in his first year and coached tampa to 101 points. I'll wait to judge cooper when he has bishop in the playoffs. I fully expect the penguins to make the playoffs and compete for there division. You guys would have to trade Crosby to have a shot at mcdavid.

Yeah, Drouin & Stamkos will be fun to see. I also like Garrison at the point, he's usually rated high in the game as well. Also interested in seeing how they rate Bishop for 15. 90+?

Ya garrison has a rocket shot in that game having him and stamkos on a power play in that game will be unfair.

I don't know about 90 for bishop but I'd expect 86 at least my guess would be 86 or 87.

True, probably somewhere between 86-89.

You have to be quite established or hyped up for 90+.

It's hard to predict what to expect from the Pens this year. It should be interesting, I have them down as a possible wild card team, I think the Rangers, Flyers and Caps will finish above the Pens and will be left to battle it out against Jackets, Red Wings, Maple Leafs and possible the Devils for a wild card spot.

My predictions are:

I think the Bruins will finish top mainly because of there experienced depth but I have the Lightning finishing a close 2nd place only a couple points off the top. I have Detroit finishing ahead of the Habs presuming they keep healthy, I think the Habs losed some ground with letting some of their vets go and trying to replace that with youth. I think the Leafs will push the Habs for the 4th spot, liked the Vet leadership they added. Ottawa I think will be close to the Panthers and Sabers than what people think, losing your franchise player is never good. Florida and Buffalo will improve and will not be that far behind off the Sens for 6th place.

I like Florida this year as well, I could see then surprising people. Lots of good young talent on that team.
