The Bruins have been crummy of late due to several players loafing. Some people with a rye sense of humo(u)r are taking pleasure from the Bruins struggles, but I still think they can rise up and slice their way into the playoffs.

Trading Boychuk had a major impact on the Bruins. They should have traded somebody else.

Spreading it thick, I see. That about covers it. Anything I could add would be stale.

Not yet, I think they're more like eggs. Still think it should come down between them and Ottawa at season's end.

Wheat ! What are you saying? I Wonder if you really mean it. I am not sure Boston's season has gone sour dough. Even though the B's have the yeast number of games left, the TD Gawwwden is an oven in April for any opponent.

They have been rough to watch this year.

Chara is showing his age now and or still injured. Claude ruins offensive minded players and Chia just hands 3rd and 4th liners good contracts way too much. If they make the playoffs they are gonna get destroyed by the Habs.

Have to hand it to the other top teams in the East though. They got better while Boston and Pittsburgh got stagnant. They have earned their spots in the standings. One of the best things about hockey is this wont make the playoffs any less entertaining without Pittsburgh or Boston or both. I am actually looking forward to watching the Rangers and Isles in the playoffs.
I agree the playoffs will still be very much entertaining but the playoffs without Sid the Kid or Chara n the boys will feel weird at first as I've come to love watching them fight for the Stanley. Excited to see what NY can do and some of the other new top teams.

Hell I would agree if Boston didn't steamroll Pittsburgh every time. lol Yeah it would be strange not having those 2 in but that very well still could happen. Its nice to have so many good teams in the east again. Predicting the Cup winner is such a crap shoot but this year is especially hard to choose. Personally was hoping Colombus would have been better this year than last. They are so hot/cold this yr.

Yeah CBus had too many injuries but next year they will be a force if they stay healthy because we won't be loosing anyone important Im excited! As for the Coyotes I can only hope we get a top 2 pick and finally get a goal scorer.

Did anyone the Ducks tying goal last night? I thought it was goaltender interference, but I wanted to know what fans of other teams thought.

I was OK with it personally because it appeared to me that it was partially the position of the D (Seidenberg I think) and they seemed to put a genuine effort into minimizing/avoiding the contact.

I thought it was fairly telling too that none of the Bruins on the ice or the bench seemed to be talking to the refs about it afterwards.

I've seen the call go both ways but Rask was entirely in the blue paint and it was Perry doing the semi-interfering so I'm going to say the refs missed one there although the contact was minor. And they missed McNasty's cross check to Beleskey's throat earlier and the high stick that cut open Lucic's nose. And then they call a one handed half-assed not even to parallel hook on Chara in overtime?

i hope they miss the playoffs. they will be embarrassingly 1 and done if they get in. no ones clicking...too many injuries and too many guys not playing within claudes system. lots of changes need to be made. there was hope when they were on a run and were holding florida and ottowa off.

this reminds me of the early 2000's. tough times.

Does anyone have heart that's on this team? Certainly appears that they don't.
