Sounds like a great idea! It really opens the door for the PAC to pass on TT and take on KU and MU. I'm pumped!

Oklahoma in the Pac16 is even more of a joke. No one will watch your games and you have to travel 1000s of miles.

Enjoy playing teams like Wazzau, Oregon State, Cal, Stanford (they had their little run like Kansas did but will soon be bad again), UCLA, Colorado, and Utah.

OU has played many pre-Colorado PAC team games over the years, just slightly more than Tennessee.

I am willing to guess that there will be an east and west division. Travel won't be much of a problem.

I would expect you to play Pac teams OOC since the Big12 is the closest BCS league to the Pac10.

SEC plays ACC all the time for a reason. They are our neighbors (and in reality SEC jr).

I am just saying OU is not a cultural fit or athletic fit for the Pac12. You may also not be 100% happy with the Academics in the long run as well. However, it may be better then staying in a sicking Pac12.

The best fit for OU is in the Big10 IMO. You don't want to be in SEC either because you would end up like another Arkansas.

It's funny when they act like they know what they are talking about...

Oklahoma doesn't have the Defenses that LSU, Bama, etc. have right now. Arkansas is 13th in the rankings. That seems to be about the spot I see OU in the SEC. OU is perenially overrated and it shows in BCS Bowl games.

At some point it is not choking and it is reality.

everyone at the top is perenially overated, thats the way it works. very few teams have started number 1 and finished number 1. in regards to your theory on defense, thats just stupid.

Hey, boomer - you seem like one of the more knowledgeable guys when it comes to ou. Have you heard anything new as far as the timeline goes?

Oh come one, everyone knows that to be competetive in the SEC you have to cheat. Don't be shocked if A&M in a few years actually puts out some really good teams and beats the shit out of Tenn, although I'm sure that's gonna happen regardles.

Oklahoma doesn't want LSU to ****** them every year so they run off to the Pac12 with Oregon. Too bad Oregon may get its refs and beat up the Sooners.

That's not a very smart post...LSU in 03' was probably one the best coached teams of the decade. The LSU defense got too Jason White(who played hurt btw) every other down. To say that team isn't as talented is just plain stupid. That LSU team beat a REALLY REALLY talented OU team with many NFL players.
