And if this shit happened to your school wouldn't you be on suicide watch? This is much more than football. I'd be embarrassed to wear my school's gear even though I know that 99% of the people at my University were solid and every fan would have done the right thing.

It is a mixture of everything..depressed, sad, pissed as fuck, wanting to cry..today definitely sucked.

As for the FANS as a whole, obviously everyone is shocked, embarrassed, and highly disappointed. I feel very, very badly for the players. Some of the positive things I've seen on facebook/twitter are what brought me back to reality and made me less wanting to crawl in a hole and die.

She basically roasted EVERYBODY at state college........I mean EVERYBODY. She's got testimony, witness accounts, records......and NOBODY is looking good in this.

The entire athletic department may have to get the boot.......seriously. I've never seen anything like this. I'm not a fan or hater, but the thought of this just boggles the mind......wow.

It's going to get worse before it gets better. State College is a fairly close knit community, and I wouldn't be surprised if more people in high positions inside and outside the university administration didn't know about something like this.

I can see it unfloding like the movie Hott Fuzz, without all the badass violence of course.

I'm shocked, disgusted, saddened. And it doesn't just stop for me at this absurd mess from Penn State. It's just sports, in general. So much greed and corruption in many of the sports I follow makes it hard to be a fan, anymore.

I follow sports as a release from the hassle and BS of everyday life. And it's now to the point where following sports actually puts me in a worse mood. The corruption almost makes me feel like I'm watching CSPAN.

I have tickets to the game on Saturday against Nebraska, and I've been looking forward to this game since it was announced that brasky was on the schedule. I still plan to go, and I'm supporting the players who represent PSU. Not Paterno. Nothing will stop me from going to this game. The players don't deserve this, and I'm going to support them.

With the exception of the grad assistant, no student has done anything wrong. Why should students and fans feel embarassed for something they had nothing to do with. I hate collective guilt. I went to Ohio State and I'm sure in the 100 + years the University has existed someone has done something horrible. I am not going to punish myself for their actions.

Kids, children were raped in your offices/facilities, and you weren't a part of the solution. You have to go. The university should be putting their FULL WEIGHT on supporting the victims. Those kids should have a free ride at PSU, and the school should pay for any counseling, etc
