Interestingly, Jessica Walter is listed on the credits so apparently she finished her voice work before her passing

I should probably get caught up. I think the last season I watched was the noir season. I tried watching a few of the space season, but just couldn’t get into it (I think the space season followed the noir season??)

There was a tropical/treasure island season in between the noir and space ones

I did not mind the coma dream concept in itself, but three seasons of it was ridiculous.

The last season got back to normal and was really good, I thought.

Been a mixed bag for me, but most of the latter seasons are like that. This past episode (the Dingo one) was very good though

I liked the Pampage episode, too.

The post coma episodes are way better than the coma episodes imo but it also has a different pace than the earlier episodes. It's middle age comedy at this point.

Yeah, I liked it. The whole episode felt like it took on too much but in a way thats also what makes it work. Things escalate quickly in a variety of ways. In older seasons, this probably would've been a two parter if I had to guess. Working around Jessica Walter was done well and they gave Archer some redemption arcs on top of adding some relatable flaws to Lana. I'd say it was a success overall and now it seems like they're at a point again where its mirroring Bond.

This would be the perfect spot to end the show. They'll probably have to introduce younger characters. Or just make it Bond.

They've been given the green light for another season if Adam Reed wants to do it, but personally, I think they should end it. It's not gonna be the same without Jessica Walter and that episode works well as a series finale.

I believe Danger Island was between Space and Noir. It's been 2 seasons since he woke up from a coma (this will be the 3rd)
