Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew died Monday at 74 from esophageal cancer. He hit 573 career home runs, but had the ego of a batboy.

Will this have any influence on the price of my collection of Killebrew baseball cards?

Yes. A player's death generally increases the value. There will be a spike.
Hell, when Tug McGraw died I sold a bunch of his cards to country music fans (He's Tim McGraw's father) for about 10 times what they were selling for to baseball collectors, though that is a different scenario. Still, I've had good luck in general with recently deceased players.
