Apparently the B12 is considering TCU

Why in the fuck would they do that? I could literally grab a map of the US(minus Texas), Mexico and Canada and start throwing darts blindfolded and whatever school it lands closest to would bring more new money to this particular conference than TCU.

I don't even give a shit how good the athletic programs are of the schools we get. Give me any school with shitty athletics in a decent sized market and I will be happy. Athletics can be improved by any program with a pay raise. Give me BYU, UNLV and SDSU. All could easily be brought in imo and bring decent markets into the picture. Please baby Jesus, anything but a Texas school.

We need to reach out west. Boise State would agree.

They recruit well out of california and giving them a chance at the big stage will only increase their recruiting pool.

You Big 12 guys should be excited about possibly adding TCU.

The Big 12 could survive, but they will have to snatch up as many schools as possible.

Why get excited about more people to split the pie when the pie gets no bigger? That is why I am not excited about adding any Texas team. Texas is already on lockdown as far as the $$$ goes for the Big 12.

True for now, but if you reversed the roles, a B12 TCU would be drawing more than a MWC Baylor.

As has been stated Boise State's fanbase is too small. Not enough fans at home games. However I do think they at least deserve a shot in a legitimate BCS conference. Money wise I don't think it would do the Big 12 any good. But if they did invite them I wouldn't lose sleep over it, with once exception. They have to replace that blue field with green turf.

BYU is a much better invite in my opinion and has already preoven they can be a good team. Send a little cash their way and it won't be too long before they are legitimate.

our fanbase is ranked 57th, I believe that's higher than some Big 12 schools.

and since no one read the link we have a stadium expansion plan that would have us to 53,000 seats within 3 years of being in the Big 12.

we also sold out our season tickets and we almost have all our home games sold out.

BSU would have the fans at home if their facilities could accommodate them.... and they lost the gay smurf turf. Both of which, I believe, would happen if brought into the Big XII.
