rumors have been floating around

Colorado State and New Mexico are trying to convince them to do so according to this link

Colorado, New Mexico trying to coax BYU and Boise State into forming new league - CBSSports.com

New Mexico brings basketball and that's all, Colorado State doesn't do much of anything so not sure if they would be at the top of the list for any sort of new league.

^^not the only rumor I heard on this

just the only one that I remember where the link is

When do they finish the stadium renovations? They better finish up and then have nothing but sold out games from now until NCAA football implodes, or they won't be swimming with the big fish.

if the MWC can get the TV deal more money worthy they might keep us, and San Diego State, along with bringing back BYU and potentially some Big East teams out west like Houston and SMU.

Wow. No offense to Boise, this is more of a San Diego State thing, but the Pac 12 already looks kind of desperate.

Thats all a bunch of BS.

The Pac would never allow San Diego State to be a member. NEVER IN A TRILLION YEARS!!

New Mexico is 10000000x more likely to be in the Pac 12 than ether Boise or SDSU.

New Mexico actually has a Academic program...

For the Record
IF...
Cal, UCLA, and Washington will vote NO on Boise and SDSU. Oregon State and Washington State will also vote No. Deal is Dead, before it even started.

what exactly do you think Cal, UCLA and Washington would have against us

San Diego state might get blocked because of regional concerns

Actually, Boise State's academics are moving up in the world. It won't be long before they surprass Oregon State.

SDSU is a complete joke of a school.

The Pac 12 would take San Diego before San Diego State. That I know for 100% fact. I would say San Diego is ahead of Boise also.

Washington is not only with UCLA and Cal when it comes to adding Top Academic schools, they are with Oregon State and Washington State to make sure No addition take away their One game vs a LA school. There is no way they will take away a game vs USC or UCLA and add Boise. No Way.

Blame the MWC President for not making moves sooner. Should have picked up teams when they had TCU, Utah, and BYU. They waited way too late.
