Didnt have to play at Syracuse, only played Duke once, and only played UNC once. Stay with me you can do it.

Boston College beat Syracuse at Syracuse, so it must not be too hard.

UNC lost to Belmont and Miami in Chapel Hill, so again, it must not be too hard.

Yeah, UVa lost to Duke, at Cameron, by 4 points. UVa beat UNC and Syracuse in Charlottesville by 15 & 19 points respectively. What makes you think UVa wouldn't do the same thing to Duke?

Im doing just fine. I get it you think Virginia is very good and so do I. All Im saying they shouldnt be ranked ahead of Duke and Syracuse should be ranked ahead of Villanova. That is all. I respect Virginia and there team very much. Try to stay with me here.

I agree that Duke should be ahead of UVa, but to suggest UVa played a soft schedule is asinine when you consider that it must not have been too soft if teams that UVa beat with ease, beat the teams that are claiming UVa played a soft schedule.

We played a soft schedule? The ACC opponents we played twice must not have been too soft if they were able to beat:
Syracuse (Boston College)
Duke (Notre Dame)
UNC (Miami)

this is a god awful argument. anybody who has watched those teams (BC, ND, Miami) knows they aren't good. In fact, they are bad. All your post shows is that good ACC teams lost to some shitty teams, making them, in our eyes, a little shittier

Ahhh the transitive property argument, best used for those with an 8th grade education in basketball.

Either way the big dance will show us whose better, with Cuse's history, not too worried.

I agree BC, ND and Miami are terrible teams, but Duke, UNC and Cuse can't use the soft schedule against UVa if they couldn't even beat those shitty teams.

How is it a transitive property argument if UVa did in fact beat the teams that UNC, Duke and Syracuse lost to?

anybody arguing anything BESIDES the fact that EVERY ACC team has had a pretty easy schedule is wrong IMO. So those Duke/'Cuse fans arguing about your soft ACC schedule should just be happy they don't play in the BIG, B12, or P12 (it's an anomaly this year, but still the truth. I can't imagine how good the ACC is gonna be next year, it will be scary)

You are soooo arrogant. The ACC is a very good conference as like the Big10 teams tend to win at home and lose away. Please try not to include the P12 with the ACC or the Big10...just not happening....sorry.

Sorry didn't elaborate. How is it a transitive property argument if UVa did beat UNC and Syracuse, as well as the teams that Duke, Cuse and UNC lost to?

this has nothing to do with the Pac12. ACC is at best the 4th conference this year, and you consistently talk about it like it's the best. Which of course makes me think you've never played basketball, and just started watching this year.

A team that loses to Green Bay and Tennessee need not ask this question.

how come you are so butthurt when I dis the ACC? is it because you are afraid I will start slamming the SEC (as they deserve to be?)

Do you think, if I had been a member on this site two years ago, that i would have been on here claiming "the Pac-12 is the best fuck you guys who say it sucks" simply because i am a fan of Arizona? of course not, because I knew it was bad. When Arizona made it to the Elite 8 with Derrick Williams it was IN SPITE of our conference, and I know that.

But you are so blind by the reputation of the ACC (and your 3rd favorite team's inclusion in that conference) that you sound like a moron. in fact, are you john0 in disguise?

lol...I'm not the one trying to say my team is all that. You are and your argument about team (a) beat team (b) doesn't fly. Other than that, VA wouldn't have a loss to Greenbay and still be ranked.

Couple that with the injuries SU played with, flagging losses means little as well.

VA's losses to UT and Greenbay are easily explained. SU's loss to VA is easily explained. Both happend during season one of three seasons. And really....only one season matters.

It's that simple. See ya in the Dance. :suds:
