For me, drafting a QB is easy...if he is worth the draft position, not an inflated value, take the QB.
I call BS on that comment dad! AS was traded for because the FO thought he was the only viable vet they should consider because KC and his agent made it clear, he wasn't signing here. While that decision (albeit early) seems to be a bad one (I think so!), can we stop already with the ridiculous comments about what AS is, was, should be, might be, is not etc? You sound ridiculous with your retorts back and fourth about the QB situation in DC. A few posters on here having you grabbing your little blanky curled up in the corner shouting back obscenities because someone took your favorite toy (KC) away. Who gives a rat's two centswell we paid smith and made the trade because he was supposed to be what KC allegedly wasnt
the excuse parade if he fails will be plenty . but the fact is KC had the same excuses but he was treated much differently as far as expectations
we will see
Simple but I like it.For me, drafting a QB is easy...if he is worth the draft position, not an inflated value, take the QB.
i am calling BS , there was no reason to trade for BKL . KC point blank said he expected to be in DC and the trade killed that possibilityI call BS on that comment dad! I wonder about drafting a QB high. The benefit in a young QB starting, especially if he is good is the reduced salary for 4 years. If you draft a guy high next year what are they going to with Smith. Pay him to ride the bench? Let the rookie QB ride the bench and use one or two of his less expensive years before finding out if you have a guy worth keeping? Trade or cut Smith?
They are probably looking at a new HC next year or the year after also.
Is Alex Smith’s Past Success a Result of Exceptional Talent Around Him?
more stuff on alex AKA CDC AKA BKL
The OP of the original thread did not mention KC. As for the rest of your rant, just morei am calling BS , there was no reason to trade for BKL . KC point blank said he expected to be in DC and the trade killed that possibility
