Yeah, not sure if he was under the weather but that was probably the worst performance by him I have ever seen.

Cmon. Watching Bradley Cooper make out with Betty White was pretty damn funny. I also loved watching Bill Murray revive his old lounge singer act while singing the theme to Jaws. Overall - the show was pretty entertaining.

Pretty tough to hit those notes when you are 72.

With all the great musical acts that have appeared on SNL over the years I was very disappointed in the Miley & Kayne selections. I know she sang a Paul Simon tune but I didn't like it. They should have had one act from each decade performer a song. McCartney sounded awful I thought. Paul Simon? Nothing against him but if you're not a certain age you probably have no idea who he is. All in all though that show last night brought back some funny memories. The worst was that dumbass Californian skit.

I thought Miley sang pretty well, but I was surprised there was no twerk. :L

I saw him a year and half ago at Safeco and he sounded great. I guess though at his age if you're not warming up the vocal chords every day this is the result.

I heard on the radio here this morning that McCartney sang about 14 songs in the cold the night before and his voice wasn't up to what it usually is.

Best line of the night has to be recanting Norm McDonald saying the following during the time he anchored Weekend Update:

F. Lee Bailey said this week that if the defense only knew what Ron Goldman's last words were, they might be able to find the real killer. You know, if you ask me, Goldman's last words were probably, ah, "Hey, you're O. J. Simpson!" ...

Classic - Norm McDonald is awesome.

Missed the show, but....

I saw Sir Paul, live a year ago, and he sounded fucking amazing and he played for 3 hours!?

If I am half that man at 70, I will care not what you bastards think:happy:

He is currently a pigeon on Adult Swim's Mike Tyson Mysteries, and he might be the best character on the show. I agree....he is awesome.

I agree and I was disappointed that Dennis Miller was not invited.

How do you know he wasn't invited ? I read that all cast members who were there for at least a year were invited. There were many no shows.... Al Franken for instance. I heard they had to do a lot of ass kissing to get Eddie Murphy to show up... and then he didn't do anything after Chris Rock's lengthy speech about how great he was... and he was great. He basically saved the show after the original crew left.

I thought it was pretty good. Seemed like a lot of the older cast members just weren't too interested. I can't blame them. I wouldn't want to glory day about a job I had 40 years ago that lasted like 3 or 4 years when I got things going on right now.

Bill Murray being one of the noteable exceptions. His "Jaws" song was one of the highlights of the night.
